It was a very Happy Memorial Day Weekend... And a full one at that!
Jeff and Alison came down from the east side for a visit to watch the Wings game. Yes, Chris does look that happy in real life. Elsie had a blast with Alison. She found a new best friend... everything was "Alison, look at this" ... "Alison, ..." and so on and so forth :)
On Saturday, we pulled out Elsie's pool she got from Auntie Amanda from Christmas. And how about that hot little number she has on? I think I picked out a cute one for sure... Cute as can be, I say!
Sam even got in on the action. My little boy loves his water, whether in the tub or pool. It was a perfect day for it. HOT! HOT! HOT!
On Sunday, we had a neighborhood grill out across the street from us. Elsie played hard with all of the rest of the kiddies. They have all sorts of toys to play with ... sand boxes, play gyms, a castle, even a blow up jumper. Crazy fun for Elsie!

And for the best day ever... On Monday, we set up this bad boy in our backyard. Our neighbor next door to us decided that he didn't want this in his backyard anymore and asked if we wanted it... Hello? of course :) After scrubbing it up, it was good to go. Elsie and Sam LOVE the swings. It sits in the perfect little spot in the back corner between two sets of trees. It always has shade. Just perfect! Elsie has named it "The Playground!"

Sam is getting so big.
What a fun time with friends.
Now you can get your arm exercise by pushing the swing, higher, higher.It's always fun to see what you are doing.
