Has been changing so much! One week ago, he discovered that he could now stand up all by himself. It was just too much fun watching his face once he figured out what he had done. Then, he couldn't stop trying ... over and over again. He would boost his little diaper butt up for a couple of seconds in a baby squat, and then ever so cautiously straightened those chubber knees out. He was just so excited. The funny thing is that he was only a foot away from me, so he could have easily climbed up on me to stand, but he didn't. It was while we were playing in the backyard.
Here he is yesterday showing off is skills.
And then there is this silly smile that is no longer toothless! Last Friday, a small little white thing on his bottom gum started to make an appearace. A couple of days later, another white thing appeared next to it. They both have been trying to make more of a showing, but so far, they are still itty bitty. By the way, this is one of Sam's favorite pastimes. He opens up all of my little drawers and pulls out everything he can get his hot little hands on. Silly boy!
