It is hard to believe this is what he turned into. We are pretty lucky to have this guy in our lives. One happy little boy with the fluffiest hair, for sure!
He loved his balloons too! What's a birthday celebration without balloons? So, we blew a few up of course. Elsie and Sam had a blast playing with them.
After a little playtime, we opened up some presents! Big sister helped out a lot. She even loved to play with them. Sam is a good share-er..
And a shot of the party guests before we dive into cake... literally for Sam.
Sam couldn't wait to dive into his cake. Even for a quick shot with his big cake, he had to have a taste. I guess this just might have been a slight indication of how he was going to be with his very own cake.
Having a little nibble of little brown bear...
And a little more...
This stuff is pretty good...
Really really good...
So good that Sam even had to put it on head. He didn't take long at all to demolish that poor little brown bear. I think he likes Gram DiDi's cake. Only a little bit made it on to the ground. He ate quite a bit of it. YIKES!
So, here is the complete aftermath. He totally had fun with it. I also have a video that I can add once I have the time.

omg ... those cake photos are hilarious! looks like he really enjoyed that cake! and what kid doesn't like balloons? we just had my oldest daughters party this weekend, for her 13th birthday. and those girls had more fun just kicking balloons all over the house and at each other. lol!
