Just a little run-down of our Easter weekend celebrations! The weather was absolutely perfect. We really couldn't have asked for anything better.
We spent Friday playing with the neighborhood kids and coloring easter eggs together...
Lots of fun and colors happening here!
Elsie and Sam enjoyed every minute of it. Elsie really liked the color pink, and Sam really like to drop the eggs in... over and over again.
Even when we colored all our eggs, Sam still wanted them. He ended up crushing the one in is right hand. The only casualty of the evening.
On Saturday, we had our neighborhood Easter egg hunt.
Lots more fun, and both of them had a blast! Elsie had been talking about the Easter egg hunt for months before this. She was estatic that the day finally came.
Then on Easter Sunday...
Sam was the first one to see the eggs left behind by the Easter Bunny. He started to point and do his little "oooo, oooh" noises. It took Elsie a little bit to realize there were hidden treasures all around her.
Here they are with all of their new found goodies.
We got all dressed up in our Sunday's best. Elsie insisted on wearing her tiara, bracelets, and ring. She needed to be all fancy when she had such a beautiful dress.
And Sam was most excited about his new truck. He squealed pretty darn loud once he got a little glimpse of it. What a boy! I am convinced that there is some "truck" gene in boys.
