Weekend Visitors...

My sister and her family made it up for a weekend visit. Elsie was beyond excited to say the least. Her Gabe and Corinne were coming! There was lots of playtime all around. Saturday night we were going have a fire, but unfortunately the weather didn't want to work with us.

So instead we watched "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs."

Then, Sunday came along and we decided we would start the fire early. We wanted to have hotdogs over the fire for dinner followed by yummy s'mores.

 

Of course the clouds rolled in. We managed to get the hotdogs cooked ... bearly. 

 

After the rain slowed down, Chris was able to get the fire going again. A few sprinkles were still coming down, but we managed to get our s'mores!

 

And this one finally smiled... Dad is a magic man, I say.
