Busy busy life...

Well with cooler temperatures, we are nearing the end of this...

The pool hasn't been completely closed yet, but we just aren't getting enough warm days now... so the clock is ticking quickly now. So sad. It has been a great two months though!

But with fall here, we have moved on to this...

My girl is now a First Grader. Full-time student. Yep, all day long! We miss her greatly here. She adjusted to it great. Sam on the other hand, the first few days he kept asking if we were going to get Elsie, Is it time to get Elsie? and Do we get her when it is dark out? Poor little man. Although, he is doing much better now. Now we have Elsie asking when she gets to play. HA! I guess those 4 short hours between getting home from school and bed just aren't cutting it anymore.

She has also back into soccer. 

This time with bigger nets and goalies, which she is super excited about. I think we might have a goalie girl on our hands.

Then this little guy turned the big FOUR!

How did that happen? Of course he chose a dinosaur on his cake. This year, he went with blue and blue. His favorite color.

After a few weeks of spending the entire day with me, he got to start his own weekly routine of school.

He is back at preschool (4's). AND loving every minute of it.

So now we have a lot of this...

And this...

Bring on school and homework :( I am just happy that they are both excited about the change in routine.

Because I am missing this...

Up for a Challenge?

I was over at the My Mind's Eye blog the other day co-hosting a September challenge...

Yes, I did journal too...

This layout actually started off for a different post, but that was pulled, and I was able to make it work perfectly for this challenge; make a coordinating card.

I just sectioned off the card the same way I did the layout, and those little tags took the place of the little photos of Elsie. I did switch out the pattern I used on the bottom section of the card, becasuse it was a smaller space calling for a smaller scaled pattern. But I still used the same supplies :) Works for me! Thanks for taking a peek!
