The November/December 2012 issue of Creating Keepsakes is hitting the shelves today! I was lucky enough to get picked up for this issue. You might even recognize some faces if you check out their sneak peak on line here.
I have a layout up at the My Mind's Eye Blog today. I took on the October Challenge this month with stamping. Nope, I am not much of a stamper, but I had fun playing with it all!
I pulled a few of the stamps and simply stamped the image, but a couple of them I had a little more fun with. I also went a little crazy and created my own pattern. I know, crazy for me. AND I didn't even use my stamp-a-ma-jig to line anything up. Yep, that was a little reckless for me. Note the fanciness on the "Creepy. Crawly. Scary. Spook." and the repeating vector pattern there? Yep made those too.
I even made my own mask from my tag punch. Fancy.
What can I say, I am pretty proud of myself. Now are you up for the challenge?
My little girl has officially lost her second tooth last week, and if memory serves me correct, this one was actually her very first tooth to come in.
On Tuesday, she came home from school excited to tell me the news that her second tooth was loose. Saturday afternoon, while eating apple slices, it came out! It was a much shorter time span this go-around. That evening, I asked her to write her name on the envelope. She was super excited, and insisted on writing a little note too. I just love this little girl.
