Week 34:
This was a pretty full week for us this past August! We enjoyed our last days of "official" summer, Elsie went back to school, fall soccer season kicked off, and Sam turned 4!
With all of those events, brought lots of pictures to take. I switched up my normal format with a summary and an extra insert.
We have our last days of summer fun, meeting Elsie's first grade teachers, and watching her walk off for her very first FULL day of school. With Elsie being gone all day long, there is a new normal around here; playtime with just Sam and I. BUT not for too long this first week. My little man has a big day coming up, so we had some grand guests that the kids enjoyed showing off their fancy swimming skills off to.
Then we flip over the 6x12 insert to see that we had Elsie's first soccer game of the fall season, and the newly added position of goalie to her age group. She was beyond excited to try it on for size. AND I must say, she is a natural. That afternoon, I baked up Sam's cake, and the little got some swim time in with Gram DiDi.
We capped off our week with Sam's 4th birthday! Time really does fly by, doesn't it?
Like I did with Elsie's birthday re-cap, I included Sam's handprint. Of course, he chose his very favorite color to use too ;)
Week 35:
We had lots and lots of Bumpa and Gram DiDi time! ... and even another birthday celebration ;)
Project Life was created by Becky Higgins to simplify memory keeping. It gets those pictures off your computer and into albums to enjoy.

I love the handprint! I just might do that with my girls next week!
