... and the Anatomy of a Double Page Layout is born.
I have a page up at the My Mind's Eye blog today. I am pretty excited about this because I did some major brainstorming to come up with a new series to feature on the My Mind's Eye blog. After the woman in charge, Mrs. Stephanie Howell, emailed the team hoping to add a little more content and technique the blog each month, I started to think of what I could bring to the table. I am not much of a technique-ish scrapbooker, so that was kind of out of my hands. I was brought on the team to be the go-to double page layout gal. After finishing my most recent layout, Anatomy of a Double Page Layout came popping into my head. Each month or two, I will let our readers into my process of creating a double page layout. How I get my inspiration, where I get my inspiration, and how I can make it work for you too. Please, read more about it here! I am VERY excited about this!
With this being January, I thought it was a great time to finally put this summary of Elsie and Sam at a month by month glance onto paper! I've had these pictures ready to print for awhile now, but I must have been waiting for just the right time to create with them. ;) The new My Mind's Eye Collectable Collection was the perfect nudge I needed to rock this page out. Can I just say I feel that these pretty little papers were made just for me?! Hello color!
