I shared this week over at the My Mind's Eye Blog today featuring the lovely My Mind's Eye Collectable Collection! I also shared some hints on how I do my computer generated journaling too, so make sure you stop on over there ;)
This week we had a silly boy, a work at home Dad, Barbies and Dinos living harmoniously together in Barbie's Dream Home, Muffins with Mom at school, Friday Night Movie Night, toy shopping adventure, and an after church lunch with awesome friends.
I used a title card from the Seafoam kit. Perfect color yellow for the Collectable Collection! I simply added a banner from the Memorable Chipboard sheet. I am not into bulk for this album, so I actually peeled off a few layers of the chipboard papers from the back. For my Sam day, I used the
"S" card for my Silly Sam and the "Life is good with you around" was perfect for the day when Chris worked from home (it had been awhile). The "Details" is from the Unforgettable Decorative Sticker sheet and mounted on a 3x4 card that I cut from the 6x6 Designer Paper pad. I cut also cut a yellow dot for the background of the pocket with the gas receipt.
You can find how I did my computer journaling here. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask! The "Lovely" banner came from the Remarkable stamp set. The "It all began with..." card was trimmed from Unforgettable "Journal" paper. As was the "You are the best" card. This one just happens to be my favorite of all the cards. I would have to say Sunday lunch at Jimmy John's with good friends is a "best" to me!
And there you have Week 3 of 2013.
