I did a lot of playing with my 2012 album this past week or so! I actually only have about 6 more weeks to finish and 2012 will be complete! I am so excited with each week I document, I can hardly contain myself. This project never gets old to me, even if I am working on last year's album. Guess that is just the price I pay for spending my entire summer in the pool with the kids :)
On to Week 38:
This week we had our first lunch together with Elsie at school, Sam had fire safety at school so Elsie followed suit and found her old fire hat too, September is all about Cowboys in Sam's Wonderful Wednesdays class, it was also Homecoming week with the parade on Thursday followed by and ice cream treat, Chipotle Friday (of course), Saturday soccer, and Sunday playtime in the backyard with neighborhood friends.
Elsie was all about sitting by her friend and neighbor, Claire for the Homecoming parade ;)
Sam also had to create his "all about me" page for school. We went to Hobby Lobby to find the perfect stickers for his project; LOTS of dinosaurs, a few cars, and a couple of Batmans. He even put two little stars on it to represent his teachers. How cute was that? "These are for my teachers."
Product Used: Becky Higgins Clementine Kit, Echo Park's Journaling Cards 12X12 Everyday Eclectic Paper (hexagon & green map), Martha Stewart Label, American Crafts Memory Marker in Leaf & Soft Black, Zig Photo Signature pen, Prima chalk ink in Moss Lawn, Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Soft Pool, Studio Calico Stamp Set Oh Happy Day (chevron card), Bohemian Typewriter Font
Week 39:
Lots of "Sam & Mom" time, sight words, big sister reading to her super hero brother, work out time, family bean bag toss, last swim of the season (yep, Chris turned on the turbo jets to heat 'er up!), and saying goodbye to Dad as he leaves for out of town work.
Elsie cracks me up sometimes. After getting her dressed that Friday morning in her new outfit, she commented that she looks just like a teacher. I asked why a teacher... "You know, like an adult!" I guess since I didn't put her in a puffy fluffy pink skirt today, she felt very grown up!

Great layouts! What kind of corner rounder do you use? I'm having a hard time finding one that matches the rounded corners of the Project Life core kits.
Thanks!

Thanks Leslie! I use the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper with the light blue-ish handles. The 1/4 side is slightly smaller than the PL cards, but I like that better than the Yellow one with the 3/8 which is slightly too big. Someone needs to make the perfect corner rounder to match ;)
