February 10 - February 16, 2014 | Week 7
The week of love.
Yes! I am back at it. I finally got around to pulling out Studio Calico's February Project Life kit, Sugar Rush. I actually started it quite awhile ago, but just never got to finish it. I actually jumped ahead to complete a few weeks for My Mind's Eye. BUT enough about that. Let me introduce you to Week SEVEN.
This was the week of Valentine's Day. We have a shot of Elsie's nightly routine of reading. At Christmas, Chris was given back is light he had read by as a child. Elsie was all over that! This picture was taken on Monday, but I also checked off the card for the rest of the week in pink since it is a nightly thing for my little girl. Tuesday, we have the kid's stack of Valentines ready to hand out to their classmate friends.
Wednesday, my parents dropped off a special guest who would be with us for the next few weeks. My parents were headed down to my sister's house where no dogs are aloud, so we got my Dad's dog named Franklin. Maggie was unimpressed. As one old pup, she just doesn't have the tolerance to put up with a little (big) puppy like that. It was quite funny to watch Franklin try his hardest to get Maggie's attention, but she just wasn't having it.
Thursday the kiddies had their Valentine's Day Party, since there was no school on Friday. Saturday, we hit the Ice Festival in the town Square, and Sunday Elsie turned in her Girl Scout Cookie order. She rocked it again this year by meeting her goal she set for herself. Go Elsie Go!
I also included an insert for our Valentines to each other by trimming down a Design E page protector so that I only had (2) 6x6 pockets. To add in a little extra fun, I paper clipped that cute card to the outside of the pocket.
There you have it! Go me!
I have the next couple of weeks finished too, so I will be sharing those here very soon. I am well aware that we are now in Week 43, but am not worried about that at all. I will get this year documented. I went on a major picture editing frenzy with an order of 602 prints to share between a mini album, project life 2014, and three years of Sam's Preschool days. Inevitably, I always manage to miss a picture or two here and there... well; I somehow missed three weeks worth of pictures. Weeks 11, 12, & 13 are still hanging out on my computer. I see another picture frenzy in my near future to justify another picture order. I think I will have to start working on pictures for my littlest big distraction as of late. Baby Project Life here I come!
