{365} Project Life 2014 | Week 26

June 23 - June 29, 2014 | Week 26

Just everyday summer life. 

This week was put together with My Mind's Eye Jubilee “Wild Berry” Collection. This collection just screams summer to me. I had this layout up on their blog a couple of months ago,HERE. Feel free to jump on over there if you want to see a little more of my process and design.

We had family time, Lego looking time, and some smiles from a baby who doesn't seem to want to smile anymore once the camera comes out. 

We had some pool time, reading time, and new glasses for an old man. Then, we were U.P. bound for the Fourth of July celebrations. Our first big road trip as a family of five plus Maggie.

{365} Project Life 2014 | Week 25

June 16 - June 22, 2014 | Week 25

We love summer. Elsie has a week of Invention Camp. John's first baseball game. 

 

This week ended up being a mix of all sorts of cards from Studio Calico's past Project Life kits, and even a touch of Becky Higgins too. The green polka dot border card is the b-side of the card I used from the previous week and I went from there. 

This week we had a picnic pizza dinner, playtime with Dad before he heads off for the week for work, plenty of swimming, and a touch of Lego searching. Sam is all about checking out what sets are hitting the stores. He needs his plan for which set he wants to save for next!

Elsie had a blast all week long attending Invention Camp. This is her second year, and she can't wait to go back this coming summer. We also went to the Tigers-Indians game on Sunday. John's very first baseball game. It was hot, but a good one! 

I included a flip pocket for some extra info on Elsie's camp. I want to remember how she invented the "Trash Pucruper." It's a robot that goes door to door picking up garbage and turns it into energy making less trash in the world. She's a smart little girl. We might have another engineer on our hands. It might just run in the family.
